Growing Instructions

Oriental Spruce seeds require no pre-treatment before sowing. Plant seeds approximately 1/8 inch deep in a well-drained seed starting mix and lightly cover them with soil or fine vermiculite. Keep the growing medium consistently moist but never waterlogged. Using a humidity dome helps maintain the moisture and humidity needed for successful germination. Place the container in a bright location with indirect light and temperatures between 65–75°F. Once seedlings develop several sets of true needles, gradually acclimate them before transplanting outdoors.
