Germination Instructions

Place the seeds in a moist growing medium, such as peat moss, sand, or a seed-starting mixture. Seal the mixture in a plastic bag or covered container and refrigerate at approximately 34–41°F for 30–90 days. Keep the medium moist but not overly wet during the cold stratification period.

After stratification, sow the seeds approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep in a well-draining seed-starting mix. Lightly cover the seeds and gently water. Place the container in a warm location with bright, indirect light. Cover with a humidity dome to help maintain consistent moisture and humidity.

Keep the growing medium evenly moist but not saturated. Germination may occur gradually, so allow adequate time for seedlings to emerge.
