Germination Instructions

1. Soak the seeds in room-temperature water for 24 hours.
2. Wrap the seeds in a moist paper towel lightly dampened with a diluted mixture of water and fungicide. The towel should remain moist, but never soaking wet.
3. Place the wrapped seeds inside a zip-lock bag with a few small holes for air circulation.
4. Refrigerate the bag for 90 days to provide the required cold stratification.
5. After stratification, sow the seeds about 1/4 inch deep in a sterile, well-draining seed-starting mix.
6. Maintain soil temperatures above 70°F. A heat mat is recommended for best results.
7. Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Covering the container with a humidity dome helps retain moisture during germination.
8. Germination is naturally slow and irregular, often taking several months and occasionally up to a year. Do not discard unsprouted seeds too soon, as many simply require additional time.
