Germination Instructions

Begin by soaking the seeds in room-temperature water for approximately 24 hours. Mix the seeds with slightly moist sterile seed-starting mix, peat moss, or sand and place them inside a sealed plastic bag or covered container.

Keep the seeds at warm room temperatures of approximately 68–75°F for a minimum of 60 days. Check periodically to ensure the growing medium remains slightly moist but not wet.

After completing the warm stratification period, move the seeds to a refrigerator at approximately 34–41°F for 90 days of cold moist stratification. Once stratification is complete, sow the seeds approximately 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep in a moist, well-draining seed-starting mix.

Place the containers in a warm location with bright, indirect light. Cover with a humidity dome to help maintain consistent moisture. Keep the growing medium evenly moist but avoid overwatering. Germination may be slow and irregular, so continued care and patience may be required.
